Afghanistan’s financial crisis and loss of funding means the current healthcare system is under threat.
One healthcare worker in Kabul expressed, “People come to our clinics, they bring malnourished children, and we don’t have enough medicine”.

What are the costs?
- Surgical operations - £500 for 10 surgeries
- Childbirth including post-natal care - £300 for 10 births
- Emergency treatment - £100 for 5 patients
- All of the above can be provided for £500
What can we do?
Your donation will go towards expanding the premises and medical departments; setting up the hospital to ensure it is fit for purpose. With your support, the hospital will stand to benefit from the employment of specialised personnel in General Surgery, Neonatal and Postnatal, Nursing and Orthopaedics departments, as well as vital medical equipment, emergency patient transport and maintenance services.
