Gaza

Gaza is under attack once again!

Over the last few days, Israel launched yet another barrage of attacks on Gaza, targeting residential buildings, public areas and agricultural sites. Tens of Palestinians have been martyred, whereby more than 70% of whom are women and children. As the number of casualties mounts, the silence from the mainstream media is deafening.

Human Aid & Advocacy will be distributing fundamental aid in the form of food, healthcare and other essential support to Survivors in Gaza including the rebuilding of damaged homes.

Our teams are preparing to respond to Israel once again attempting to fracture the spirits and land of the people of Gaza.

We’re advocating for a free Palestine.

Rebuild Homes

Israel’s most recent attack on Gaza has left thousands of children terrified and many more residents homeless as a result of heavy shelling on residential areas. More than 1000 homes have been evacuated, as families escape the latest barrage of brutalities on the people of Palestine. Recent reports state the bombing has damaged over 300 homes and destroyed 47 apartment buildings.

Provide Palestinians with critical aid. Housing rehabilitation is urgently needed to support the residents of Gaza. For £2000, support the renovation of damaged homes and help fortify the will of the people of Gaza.

Al Shifa Hospital

When Gaza is attacked Al Shifa Hospital is the main point of call for our Palestinian Survivors.

In Palestine, the 15-year blockade on the Gaza Strip and extremely limited resources have severely affected Gaza’s economic and health infrastructure.

Gaza has faced continued bombardment, leading to hundreds wounded, dozens martyred and thousands of children and women suffering from severe and profound psychological trauma. The escalation by occupying forces destroyed many livelihoods, homes and medical centres, and detrimentally affected agricultural crops.

Al Shifa Hospital is the central hospital in Gaza, treating thousands of patients daily. Socioeconomic decline, conflict and closure, power shortages and inconsistent funding have left many medical facilities overstretched, and under severe pressure.

Help Al Shifa Hospital keep Palestinian survivors alive.

Human Aid & Advocacy are delivering much needed aid and support in Palestine, providing crucial assistance to the vulnerable people of Gaza.

With your support, Human Aid & Advocacy can continue to support the largest Hospital in the occupied territory, financially supporting staff, furnishing the Emergency Ward, providing critical medical equipment and hospital beds to those in need.

Hospitals in the Gaza strip have been stretched beyond capacity. Donate today to provide essential support to our Gaza survivors.

£500 - Maintain Al Shifa Hospital

“The one who stays with the one who is sick, and takes care of him and looks after him has done good by serving him and caring for him, and Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “and do good. Truly, Allah loves Al-Muhsinoon (the good-doers)”.  [Surah al-Baqarah 2:195]

Donate now to alleviate the struggles of the Gaza people and provide fundamental healthcare to those that need it most.

Large-scale population displacement, shortages of water and electricity, environmental health hazards, loss of income and many more factors increased drastically the vulnerability of the majority of the population at a time when the siege on Gaza and the financial crisis of the government had already left the system on the brink of collapse.

The chronic situation of the health sector therefore is a major underlying cause for the impact of the conflict on the health system in Gaza today and unless addressed systematically a recovery of the health sector to a stronger and more resilient health system is highly unlikely.

  • Poverty and unemployment continue to rise due to the siege imposed on Gaza.
  • 80% of people in Gaza depend on aid to survive.
  • Approximately 25% of the essential medicines and 52% of the medical disposables completely run out.
  • 50% of the ambulances stopped working as a result of the lack of fuel, which further aggravated the hospitals’ mission
  • 50,000 Gaza employees have not received their salaries for more than three months.
