Uyghur

The Uyghur community have faced ethnic cleansing, forced sterilisation and torture at the hands of the Chinese government, with an estimated 67,000 Uyghurs have fled to Turkey from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Western China. now having fled and are living in turkey.  

You can support our Uyghur brothers and sisters by donating to food packs and helping upskill our sisters with sewing machines, helping them become independent. 

Our teams are responding through aid and advocacy to Chinese Genocide. Our team are providing:

  • Food 
  • Vocational Skills
  • Advocacy

Food Pack 

For just £50, you can provide a family of up to six with a food pack with enough nutritious food for one whole month.  

Vocational Training (Sewing Machines)

Your donation will provide vocational  training courses to Uyghur women, equipping them with the skills, training and facilities to develop a sustainable livelihood and support their families.  

Many of these women are widows and the sole breadwinners supporting their families.  

Each participant in our programme will receive handicraft training and be gifted with a sewing machine of their own.  

Human Aid & Advocacy work with local businesses, providing participants with the best chance possible at securing stable employment after completing the programme.
