The Uyghur community have faced ethnic cleansing, forced sterilisation and torture at the hands of the Chinese government, with an estimated 67,000 Uyghurs have fled to Turkey from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Western China. now having fled and are living in turkey.

Many of these women are widows and the sole breadwinners supporting their families.
Each participant in our programme will receive handicraft training and be gifted with a sewing machine of their own.
Human Aid & Advocacy work with local businesses, providing participants with the best chance possible at securing stable employment after completing the programme.
