Which of our projects are zakat eligible?
Zakat must be owned by the recipient, therefore our Orphan project, Iftar, Food packs and baby milk projects are all Zakat eligible. This has been checked by our scholars board as well as the Islamic Finance Advisory (IFA).
We are distributing aid in Yemen right now, as well as advocating for the rights of the people of Yemen.
Allah says in Surah al-Hadid: "Believe in Allah and His Messenger and donate from what He has entrusted you with. Those of you who believe and donate will have a mighty reward."
