This November, I took part in a challenge to cover 80-100km on horseback across Morocco’s stunning yet rugged terrain. Why? Because the children of Gaza desperately need our support. This past year has been catastrophic for Gaza. Indiscriminate bombings have destroyed families, homes, and any sense of security. Thousands of children have been left orphaned, facing unimaginable trauma and an uncertain future. They urgently need food, shelter, healthcare, and education—the basic necessities we often take for granted. The Orphan Fund is working relentlessly to provide these crucial resources, ensuring these vulnerable children have a safe place to live, nutritious food, medical care, and the opportunity to continue their education. But they can’t do it alone. That’s why I joined this group. This challenge was way past my comfort zone and pushed me beyond my limits. In unfortunate circumstances I fell and sustained rib fractures. I’m in hospital for treatment and monitoring. Whilst I’ve not been able to reach the target trek, I’m still keen to meet the fundraising target. Please donate.
