This November, I’m taking on a challenge that’s both exciting and daunting. I'll be embarking on a 3-day, 80-100km horseback trek across Morocco’s stunning yet rugged terrain. Why? Because the children of Gaza desperately need our support. This past year has been catastrophic for Gaza. Indiscriminate bombings have destroyed families, homes, and any sense of security. Thousands of children have been left orphaned, facing unimaginable trauma and an uncertain future. They urgently need food, shelter, healthcare, and education—the basic necessities we often take for granted. The Orphan Fund is working relentlessly to provide these crucial resources, ensuring these vulnerable children have a safe place to live, nutritious food, medical care, and the opportunity to continue their education. But they can’t do it alone. That’s why I've joined this group for a “zero-to-hero” horse riding journey. The last time I was on horseback was a gentle trot in 2002! This trek will push me far beyond my limits, with every sore muscle and blister serving as a reminder of the strength and resilience of Gaza’s children.
