O Allah, help and protect the people of Palestine. Ease their pain and suffering and bestow your mercy on them. O Allah, open people’s hearts to give in this time of crisis. Over 61,700+ people have been killed, but the actual figure is estimated to be in the region of 250,000 people killed. 70% of people killed are women and children. Over 110,000 people have been injured. The healthcare system is on the brink of complete collapse. Entire neighbourhoods have been destroyed, and families have been torn apart. Gaza is in famine. Food and water have run out and every single person in Gaza is starving and struggling to find food and drinkable water. More than 10 children per day lose one or both of their legs in Gaza. Illness, disease and truama are widespread. Over 1.9 million people have been displaced in Gaza and are living in inadequate conditions, unable to protect themselves from the winter cold. Nowhere in Gaza is safe. The Prophet, upon be peace, said: "Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity." He, upon be peace, also said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)
