Let’s do our part!

Our brothers and sisters in Gaza are on our front lines, they have been honoured by Allah to sacrifice so much for His sake and they are doing it willingly. They are my family, they are your family who are from the best people of this ummah through their actions and sacrifice, may Allah accept from them.

While we have no excuses in front of them or in front of Allah, we continue to live our lives of comfort and extravagance while they are busy lifting this huge weight on behalf of our Ummah, on behalf of us. The least we can do is support ourselves on Yawm-ul-Qiyamah through supporting our family in Gaza while they are lifting up the weight of the whole Ummah in this struggle.

They are sacrificing their families, their homes, their limbs and their lives, everything for Allah and the upholding of the Ummah, the awakening of the Ummah. They will be able to hold up their heads on the day of standing that they tried so hard for Allah SWT and sacrificed so much.

What will we say on that day if we act as bystanders, we need to support them so we are not left destitute on the last day and we have something at least to hold on to, that we sacrificed for Allah in terms of our lives and our wealth as a fraction of what they are doing. What will we say if when we are asked about our own family in Gaza, that we did not support them with everything we could?
