My Story

This year, I’m excited to be running the Muslim Charity Run to raise vital funds for the Hopefund through Human Aid & Advocacy. The Hopefund is dedicated to ensuring crucial, life-saving support reaches some of the world’s most vulnerable people – offering not just immediate relief, but also hope and dignity for those facing immense hardship.

Through your generous donations I hope every step I take in this race is a step towards brighter futures for those suffering from war, persecution, and injustice. Through your generous contributions, we can ensure that essential aid reaches those who need it most – from medical care and food supplies to education and long-term support.

Together, we can make a real difference. Your donation, no matter the size, will have an incredible impact on transforming lives and restoring hope. Let’s run for a cause that truly matters and be the reason someone finds hope again. Jazakallah Khair for your support!

The Story

You have the chance to do more for our Ummah

These are trying times for the Ummah. Our steadfast brothers and sisters around the globe are facing war and unimaginable persecution in areas like Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Afghanistan, and other regions.

But just as they are tested, we too are being tested. We are obliged to support our oppressed brothers and sisters to the best of our abilities. Human Aid has been serving and rallying for the rights of our brothers and sisters around the globe since 2010. Join us in our mission to create a world where all Muslims can worship Allah without the fear of persecution.

Will you stand with the Ummah during its darkest hour?

Maximise the impact of your donations.

Traditional charity usually just provides aid. But the HopeFund goes further. It not only delivers aid more efficiently by reaching those who need it the most, right when they need it but it also advocates for lasting change.

This is achieved by:

  1. Covering running costs to deliver aid faster.
  2. Topping up projects to maximize humanitarian impact.
  3. Releasing funds during emergencies so no one faces disaster alone.
  4. Advocating for the rights of our Ummah for long-term change.

You can ensure the fight for justice never stops even when the headlines do.

By donating to the HopeFund, you allow your donations to reach their full potential and make the biggest impact. Give smarter by supporting the HopeFund.

Standing up for the Ummah doesn't always mean giving grand speeches, sometimes it's the quiet, consistent support from people like you that sustains the mission and makes all the difference. Sometimes it means supporting the people who are at the forefront, fighting to make a change.

Your regular donation ensures our fight for justice never ends but only grows stronger.

Commit to a regular donation to be there for survivors long after the disaster.

Set up your HopeFund today. Small deeds account for big rewards.

‘A’isha reported Allah’s Messenger as saying, “The acts most pleasing to God are those which are done most continuously, even if they amount to little.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Why donate to us?

1. You will fulfill your duty.

As Muslims, it is our duty to stand against oppression. The Prophet (SAW) said, “Whoever among you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith.” (Sahih Bukhari.)

2. It will grant you ease in this world and the hereafter.

If you empower those facing hardships, Allah will reward you by granting you ease in all your affairs. Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from difficulties in the world and the Hereafter. (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1930, Book 27, Hadith 36)

3. It will protect you from hellfire.

Spending in the way of Allah, no matter what the amount will help protect you from hellfire. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “Protect yourself from hell-fire even by giving a piece of date as charity.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

About Human Aid & Advocacy

Human Aid & Advocacy is an international NGO, supporting survivors of war and persecution through access to sustainable aid programmes while rallying for the rights of our brothers and sisters around the globe. Human Aid & Advocacy was officially founded in 2010, however, those involved in the founding of the charity have been widely engaged in charitable efforts since 2004.

The siege of Gaza was the catalyst that led to the birth of Human Aid & Advocacy. Since our inception, we have delivered millions of pounds of aid to Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Libya, Somalia, Afghanistan, and to our oppressed brothers and sisters of East Turkistan, the Uyghurs, and the Rohingya in Bangladesh and Myanmar.
