An estimated 67,000 Uyghurs have fled to Turkey from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Western China.

Escaping heinous human rights abuses, many refugees now live in unstable conditions, without ratified support. Many Uyghurs are facing uncertainty in inadequate and provisional living conditions, without guaranteed accommodation, employment or support.

Human Aid & Advocacy has been working on the ground in Istanbul, delivering aid to the Uyghur community, providing opportunities for stability in these uncertain times.

Your donation will provide vocational  training courses to Uyghur women, equipping them with the skills, training and facilities to develop a sustainable livelihood and support their families.

Many of these women are widows and the sole breadwinners supporting their families.

Each participant in our programme will receive handicraft training and be gifted with a sewing machine of their own.

Human Aid & Advocacy work with local businesses, providing participants with the best chance possible at securing stable employment after completing the programme.

Your donation will help widowed Uyghur refugees to support their families.

Donate now to equip Uyghur refugees with the gift of a sustainable livelihood.

£300 for a sewing machine (Zakah eligible)

£200 for training (Sadaqah only)
