EMPOWERING AFGHANISTAN'S FUTURE

In 2021, Afghanistan achieved liberation, making significant progress under the new administration. However, the country is still recovering from 20 years of war, further hindered by international isolation and the sudden loss of foreign aid, causing deep economic hardship and widespread poverty.

Afghanistan’s humanitarian crisis continues, with 22 million people in urgent need of assistance. 17 million are facing severe hunger, and millions of children are malnourished. The country’s infrastructure is devastated, leaving many without access to healthcare and education. Orphaned children and widows are especially vulnerable, lacking safe homes and opportunities to learn.

At Human Aid & Advocacy, we provide critical support on the ground. We run orphanages, offering shelter, education, and care to children who have lost everything. Our girls' school in Paghman gives education to those denied learning due to conflict. We also operate a hospital offering essential medical care and a vocational training program to help young men and women build sustainable futures.

All our Zakah projects are certified by the Islamic Finance Advisory of the Islamic Council (formerly the Islamic Council of Europe). We consult them regularly to ensure continued compliance with their Zakah policy.
