EMERGENCY APPEAL
An Earthquake has struck eastern Afghanistan, centered near Jalalabad in Nangarhar province.
The powerful tremors have devastated remote, mountainous villages, many only reachable by helicopter. Hundreds of lives have been lost and thousands have been injured, with entire homes and villages destroyed.
Rescue operations are ongoing but hampered by landslides blocking roads and limited access to affected areas.
Our teams are on the ground delivering emergency support to survivors — including food packs, clean water, shelter, clothing, hygiene kits, and medical assistance.

Orphans

The Paghman Girls School teaches Islamic studies, mathematics and local literature to young girls on the outskirts of Kabul.

Which of our projects are zakat eligible?
Zakat must be owned by the recipient, therefore our Orphan project, Homes, Iftar/Food packs and sustainability projects are all Zakat eligible. This has been checked by our scholars board as well as the Islamic Finance Advisory (IFA).
HUMAN AID & ADVOCACY
are distributing aid in Afghanistan right now, as well as advocating for the rights of Afghans and for the release of their frozen assets held by the west.
Allah says in Surah al-Hadid: "Believe in Allah and His Messenger and donate from what He has entrusted you with. Those of you who believe and donate will have a mighty reward."
