Project: Vocational Skills Centre 

Afghanistan’s education system is no stranger to the wide-reaching effects of these sanctions. Since 2022, the number of young men and women enrolled in higher education has recorded a 60% decline.  

The Afghanistan Vocational Institute, established in Kabul, provides theoretical and practical learning courses to orphans and widows.  

Catering to 750 students, we need £250k to initiate this project, providing viable vocational courses to widows and orphaned children. 

These survivors have lost countless family members to war and oppression. You can give the gift of education and support Afghanistan’s survivors as they work towards to self-sufficiency. 

Offering courses ranging from mechanical engineering and plumbing to  carpentry and computing, the Institute presents a vital opportunity for students to develop a skill professionally, supporting survivors on their quest for financial independence.
