My Story

Palestine holds a special place in our hearts as Masjid al-Aqsa is mentioned in the Qu’ran. The same revelation which tells us “The believers, both men and women, are guardians of one another. They encourage good and forbid evil...” [9:71]. So, it is our responsibility to relieve the hardships our Palestinian brothers and sisters face, and we should ease some of the many difficulties they experience in their right to resistance, as we know that Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. The reality is more than 1,000 youth from the Palestinian people have been murdered by the Israeli occupation in the span of 10 days or so, as a Muslim youth organisation this deeply affects us. Our brothers and sisters have shown great resolve in the face of these atrocities and it our duty to now help them in every way possible and to speak out on behalf of the Muslim youth and assist all the Muslims across Palestine, especially Gaza.

The Story

Gaza is under attack once again!

Over the last four weeks Israel has launched an unrelenting barrage of attacks on Gaza, targeting residential buildings, public areas, schools, agricultural sites, places of worship and medical facilities. Thousands of Palestinians have been martyred and more than 70% of whom are women and children. As Israel openly commits countless crimes against humanity, the bias from the mainstream media and international community is clear to see.

Just as our Palestinian brothers & sisters refuse to succumb to Israeli occupation, we must proudly show our support and solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. Human Aid & Advocacy are distributing emergency aid in Gaza right now, as well as advocating for the rights of Palestinians and end of the illegal occupation!

The Real Need (which Advocacy contributes to) is:

Freedom from Illegal Occupation
